Kendriya Vidyalaya Tinsukia was born in the year 1986 with quivery legs but different outlook. But now KV Tinsukia is a force to reckon with. It has come a long way & is still to attain greater heights & excellence.
The Vidyalaya is now situated at Hijuguri Railway Colony, Tinsukia. but Vidyalaya is shifted to its new and permanent building at Naw pukhuri, Tinsukia shortly. The new building is constructed on a land measuring 7.53 acres, leased by NF Railway, with all the modern facilities required for unhindered intellectual, academic and physical growth of the students.

** Annual Inspection of the Vidyalaya is scheduled on 20 November 2010 under the able guidance of Shri C Mani Honorable Education Oficer KVS RO Silchar Region.

** KV Tinsukia extends to double section from Class I to VIII

** All the admission formalities completed till July 31st.

** A meeting presided by the Honourable Assistant Commissioner Sh K J Subba for the regional Sports meet is to be held on 09 Aug 2010.

** The school is constantly growing.A Mathematical garden and Children park have been constructed in the Vidyalaya.


 
     
     
 
In order to provide ample guidance to children at + level a career guidance cell has been set up in the vidyalaya under the supervision of expert teachers. Experts from various fields are invited periodically to guide the senior class students .A bulletin Board displaying the career guidance material is maintained with regular updates.
